If you were into R&B in the early 1980’s, then you will for sure remember this song.  “Freak me” by Silk was crazy at the time.  I remember grindin to this song at my freshman year high school dances, getting to second base, yeah that’s right baby… second base, thanks to this song!  Silk came out with songs and song titles that could pass as porno movie names and scripts, they were so graphic. 

While you’re checking out this video, pay particular attention to the styles.  The black and white striped, silk turtle neck.  The mustard pants and of course, the shirt collar over the jacket collar.  I’m not sure the 90’s will ever be known for its style.  In fact the 90’s may be considered the dark ages of fashion.

If you’re looking for a good R&B song to help put you in the mood for some love, this song still works!  However it’s so classic, that it usually makes you smile or laugh as soon as you hear it come on.
