Well I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend....mine was both devastating and awesome at the same time. I did the fashion show at Dean Martini’s Friday night, it turned out really well...everyone was decked out in sexy little numbers (if you wore lingerie or pajamas you got in free), the amount of scantily-clad women was insaaaane!!! The show went off without a hitch and every girl looked smoking! I hope Shan Hasan from Windsor Social had a wicked birthday party!

I got to wear this black shiny capri catsuit that zipped up the front and had red vinyl detailing on the sleeves and pant hems, my other outfit was a reaaaally short miniskirt and short sleeved open-concept number that didn’t leave too much to the imagination....I dunno about that one...perhaps with less junk in a de trunk?

After I finished the show, I through on a tracksuit and flip-flops and peaced out to Boom Boom Room with a couple good friends and proceeded to dance to the sick tunes of the one and only Marcus Beier. In my opinion Marcus has some serious talent, his beats were always fresh and danceable and he’s as much fun to watch spin as he is to listen I kid you not! The man has chizzled features and sexy hair/body goin on for himself. He’s constantly moving and getting the crowd hyped which in my humble old-skool raver opinion merits jumping around in a sweaty frenzy for ....so I did...

Fast forward to Saturday afternoon ,....I get home and discover my cats Osama and Osiris are missing (I was not in any state to deal with that). The little jerks were both found a few hours later and when I went to jump on FB to change my status to a more positive one, I find a letter in my inbox telling me one of my closest friends in Toronto Sonja Little passed away due to complications from diabetes!!! FML!!!! This put me into a bittersweet kinda mood because me and that girl used to go to raves and clubs and have the wickedest times and now shes gone. You’d think my weekend would kinda end there right...

Not at all! If there’s one thing Sonja did was not dwell over horrible situations....she was a fighter and would want me go out and have fun but not forget. So........off to Rise and Industry I went with the full intention of tearin up the dance floor all night long!!!

Rise turned out to be pretty crowded, they were doing all kinds of cash giveaways and the drink prices had been lowered...that made for quite a boisterous gay/lesbian/bi/straight crowd, the dance floor was rocking pretty much the whole night. There were gorgeous bois doing gravity-defying moves on the poles with chests like... I don’t know....I didn’t any get pics either...booh! Fortunately there was hearty dose of people from all genders and nationalties getting there groove on and possibly the flaming weave was the only negative thing that happened that night. I felt soooo bad for the is poor girl on her birthday....some looser came up behind her and lit her bloody weave on fire!!! The club rocked over all (save for the smell of chared weave lingering in the air like wtf.... at least I know that Sonja would have had a blast!

When I left Rise I headed over to Industry the after hours club on Pelissier near Wyandotte to hear Rob Manuel spin. Robs a pretty lively character with an obscene amount of stamina when it comes to working them decks. Rob did a sweet job spinning but this one really slight guy with dark hair got up and spun and just killed it....his name escapes me...I will find it tho! Ok now off the purchase some mint in hopes of getting my mojito on!!!!
