Beer cubes could replace ice cubes in Toronto bars, clubs and restuarants by 2016

Has anyone here ever frozen up a batch of 'beer cubes'?

It works better with stainless steel ice cube trays, and thats really all the special equipment you need - its necessary to get the liquid into a solid as fast as possible to preserve the effervescence. Try to get as close to 'flash freezing' as possible. Certain type of beers are easier - unfortunately the less alcohol the better

Hey guys If this catches on... Do you know what a breakthrough this could be? When this gets popular it will suddenly be possible to buy two ddrinks in one. you could go out and order a drink with 'beer cubes' and get a beer chaser at the same time. You could enjoy a rye and coke with a couple shots of beer, chiling . waiting for when you are done. Drink back the first beverage and wait a minute for the next one to serve itself in your glass.
